FBI Database - 18 Omitted Death Cases In 2008 - What Is Going On Here?
by Editor on 09/03/10
In reviewing the FBI database for passengers and crew who were found dead on the ship, there are only 4 cases listed for 2008. Yet, the Cruise Bruise data base has 22 cases for 2008.
The four cases in the FBI data base included deaths by natural cases and verified suicides, as do many of the other cases in the Cruise Bruise death index.
Each of the cases in the Cruise Bruise deaths database have been verified through other government databases.
There was much fanfair after the passing of recent legislation requiring these incidents to be present in an online data base. The database came online and the web was all abuzz with numerous media outlets professing this information to be the all-inclusive consumer's data base of official crimes, deaths and missing people aboard cruise ships. It couldn't be more of a let-down to see this information deceiving the cruising public.
There is one thing I can tell you, 100%. I know for a fact these 22 cases were reported to United States Government. I don't know if the 22 are all inclusive, or like the FBI database, cases are missing. I suspect my 22 cases from 2008 are but a scratch on the surface, as I am but one person gathering death cases. Since these 22 cases were reported by the cruise lines, the incorrect number in the online database can only be attributed to the FBI . . . or . . .
. . . the Sun-Sentinel which received the data from the FBI and put it online at their site. I think the Sun-Sentinel needs to do an investigation into the matter, and let the public know who is at the root of this deception, they or the FBI.
How is it that one little old lady can gather more death cases and put them in a database than the entire Federal Bureau Of Investigation and the Sun-Sentinel with all their manpower? Something is terribly amiss here.
More Flaws In FBI Data Base - Drug Busts Missing From Data
by Editor on 09/03/10
I reported earlier this week that thefts were missing from the FBI data base. We can now add drug busts missing. On June 17, 2008 Cruise Bruise reported the arrest of Robert Beal who was a passenger aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Dream. Beal was caught with marijuana aboard the ship, was removed from Norwegian Dream, arrested and convicted in Bermuda.
An Additional 85 Crimes Of Sexual Nature Added To Data Base
by Editor on 09/03/10
From the handful of public masterbators, to the men who shock children and parents by exposing themselves in pools and spa, to the men who think that all women's bodies are a free, public amusement park, on this earth simply to amuse them, another digusting addition of 85 crimes of a sexual nature have been added to the data base.
In the course of the addition, the Sexual Assaults area of the site has required additional navigation links, now in place to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
There are now 208 sexually-based offenses in the Cruise Bruise database

Carnival Dream Quickly Becomes Carnival Nightmare As Brawl Gets Out Of Control
by Editor on 08/30/10
It seems that Carnival Corp is always playing catch up. They just can't catch a break with technology advancing faster than they can teach their employees how to lie. Surface now, some photographs and videos that prove beyond a doubt people at the helm in corporate are either clueless or just plain liars.
The latest blunder at CCL was the announcement that 10 people were evicted from Carnival Dream with another electing to join them on the flight home from Mexico. As we count, 10+1=11, not 18 or more who were photographed on the dock at Costa Maya, along with their luggage, then photographed again as they boarded a tram taking them away from the dock.
The 'minor incident' as CCL labeled it, was caught in part on video, showed the Carnival carnage, with one passenger stomping the head of another passenger into the dance floor, which knocked him out. Over 50 cabins and an estimated 200 passengers were affected in this 'minor incident'. Tables were flying, scantily clad women were kicking, screaming, howling and throwing fists right along with the men who didn't seem to know enough to stop. Photos and videos tell a story that is quite different than the CCL official announcement.

Lena Hunt: Dining Aboard Bahamas Celebration
by Editor on 08/28/10
"My first stop was Rio's even before my luggage was brought to the cabin. As I had a rumbling tummy and no clothes to change into, the Brazilian steakhouse buffet was perfect. No need to dress up and a smorgasbord of meat on the thirty-foot buffet is okay with me. Hand carved cuts of meat were served generously. Sandwiches and wraps as well as a great salad and side selection made for an excellent lunch. Rio's is also open for breakfast and dinner with a wide variety of offerings during those meals. The only thing that I might complain about was the feeling of being a bit uncomfortable with the chefs/servers who were cutting and serving the meat. A bit loud and flirty, I tried to avoid having to approach them. I believe that a little more professionalism could have been had in this area. Everything else about Rio's gets a thumbs up..."
