Balmoral is a owned and operated by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and she was built in 1988. In 2007–2008 she was lengthened by 30 m (98 ft) prior to entering service with her current operator. The Balmoral is due to follow the original route of the Titanic, in April 2012. Her tonnage is 43,537 GT with a capacity for 1,778 passengers and 471 crew
Boudicca is also owned and operated by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and she was built in 1973. In 1982 she was lengthened from 177.70 meters (583 ft 0 in) to 205.47 meters (674 ft 1 in). She was sold to Fred Olsen in 2005 and named Boudicca.
