More reports coming in from other passengers onboard Carnival Triumph following the fatality of a young male passenger from an alleged  drugs overdose.

If you know any more details concerning this tragic incident we would be interested to hear from you. Do you recall what security procedures were in place at the ships gangway and also inside the port area.

Are you a serving ship's officer or crewmembers who would be willing to provide us with detailed information concerning the additional security measures in place for known ports of call where drugs, violent crime or other incidences are well known. Is the company advising you about shore leave personal protection or safety procedures?

I just finished cruising on the Carnival Triumph. I was told that on Wednesday, March 23rd 2011, after stopping in Progresso Mexico, a 26 year old young man was found dead from apparently consuming drugs he bought in Progesso.

His cabin was on the 10th floor. This was confirmed when I asked a crew member but not much more information was given. Can you investigate?I have used this tragic story to teach my children the dangers of drugs plus I am curious.

Thank you for your email and we were made aware of this tragic fatality just a few hours before you notified us, seems a few guests have become aware of this incident.

Do you know anymore about the victims, was this near the end of the cruise? We are already investigating but would appreciate as much info as you're able to provide
