At the age of 22, the life of Timothy Wayne Hammerstone is officially over. Arrested for the crime of possessing child pornography, he is now officially classified as the scum of the earth.
Hammerstone, from Polk City, Florida worked at the commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios. That job is gone and he will never again work at any Disney property.
The Disney employee has been charged with 16 counts of possession of child pornography after he tried to hook up with kids using his XBox live account.
Police say they were alerted to Hammerstone after a mother contacted them to say that her son had been contacted by Hammerstone, requesting a nude photo. The photo was sent and when the parent discovered the exchange had taken place, she contacted law enforcement.
The boy sent Hammerstone nearly 40 pictures of himself naked in exchange for $20 worth of credits, called Microsoft Points, that he could use to buy more games online.
When police arrived at Hammerstone's residence, they found a flash drive with more than a dozen pictures of young boys naked and performing sex acts.
Deputies say Hammerstone also admitted to sexually abusing a child in the past. That means more serious charges could be on the way. At arrest, he faces the possibility of 15 years in prison for each child pornography count.
